Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy bear watching, fly fishing, rafting, kayaking and wildlife viewing in Alaska, the largest state of the United States. The fly-in fishing lodge is approximately 80 air miles from Anchorage and located on the banks of Lake Creek. The six cabins can hold up to 16 guests and have a fully-equipped kitchen, electricity and wireless Internet. Two of the cabins are located on the banks of Lake Creek. Fish found in Lake Creek include arctic grayling, northern pike, sockeye salmon, pink salmon, rainbow trout, king salmon, chum salmon and silver salmon. Most fishing packages include a guide and two to three fisherman will go with one guide. Wilderness Place Lodge has a tackle shop and a lounge. Meals can be included in package deals.

Alaska River Adventures is located in Cooper Landing and offers many fishing packages. Some fishing packages include your stay in a cabin, all meals and fishing trips with guides. Other activities available at the Alaska River Adventures include horseback riding, rafting, bird watching and kayaking. Full service amenities include fish packing and freezing, a different fishing tour each day and top of the line fishing tackle. Scenic raft trips and wilderness trips are also available. Guests will be fishing for rainbow trout, king salmon, silver salmon, red salmon and sea-run Dolly Varden trout from a drift boat on the Kasilof River and Alaska’s Upper Kenai River.

Alaska Funny Moose Vacation Lodging offers halibut fishing, Alaska salmon fishing, cabins and fly-out fishing on the Kenai River. Cabins are rented by the week and feature bathrooms, showers, two bedrooms and a kitchen. Each of the riverfront cabins are located on a secluded park of the Kenai River. Some packages include guided fishing trips and a halibut fishing charter. The fishing packages also offer a trip on a boat plane for fishing and bear watching.
