The Hall Lake Cabins are fully furnished and available for either weekly or daily rental. Rates include bedding, a fully-equipped kitchen, cable TV, showers, air-conditioning and heat, grills and a fire pit. Pets are welcomed for a fee but must be on a leash. Cabins are either available with one double bed, a double bed and pull-out couch or two double beds. A house can also be rented.

On-site activities include fishing, boating, swimming, pontoon fishing and relaxing. A playground is available for children. The cabins are open year-round and ice fishing can be arranged in the winter. Ice fishing houses can be rented. Rates for renting ice houses include heat and open holes. You can also rent an electronic fish-finder and buy bait and tackle.
Once you venture off of the property you will find even more opportunities for entertainment. Cross country skiing, snowmobiling and hunting are common outdoor activities. You can also enjoy what the city has to offer like a water park, golf club, opera house, bowling lanes, museums and an annual county fair.
Fairmont area lakes include Lake George, Sisseton Lake, Budd Lake, Hall Lake and Amber Lake. The county also has another five lakes. Perch, walleye, bluegills, bass and pike are some of the fish species seen in the area. Fishing is one of the area's main past times and anyone over the age of 16 should plan to get a fishing license.
