The property includes a private beach, dock and large lawn for family activities, along with a horseshoe pit and bocce ball court. This cabin accommodates up to 20 people. All towels, linens and kitchen equipment are included. In winter, go cross-country skiing, ice-fishing, snowmobiling or just sit by the fire. The cabin is nonsmoking with no pets allowed.

    Hillcrest Resort

    • This resort on Big Sandy Lake features seven cabins, accommodating between two to six people. Cabins include fully-equipped kitchens, along with bed linens. Each cabins comes with a boat for use on the lake. Guest must supply their own towels, soaps and fishing equipment. Eat in the nearby Hillcrest Resort restaurant, which also offers a game room and bar. During the peak summer season, cabins must be rented for at least one week. At other times of the year, a two-night minimum stay applies.

    Savanna Portage State Park

    • Visitors to Savanna Portage State Park have access to Big Sandy Lake, and the park offers cabins for overnight accommodations. Some cabins have electricity and heat, and all sleep five to six people. The one-room cabins with screened porches do not have indoor plumbing but are close to the park's restrooms and showers. Outdoors, each cabin has a grill, fire ring and picnic table. Pets and smoking are not permitted in cabins.
