• The Trailside Cabins are located about a half-mile up the slope from the town of Grand Marais. The resort is convenient to Grand Marais by road or the pleasant Lake Trail, exclusively for hikers. The Gitchi Gami bike path passes alongside, and the Trailside also offers guests picnic facilities, comfortable lawn chairs, and a Quilt Shop. Berry-picking, lake fishing, hiking, and canoeing are favorite local activities. The Trailside is open from May to October only.

• The Devil Track Resort, on Devil Track Lake a short distance from Grand Marais, offers lakeside cabins for large parties, as well as restaurant, meeting rooms and banquet rooms for wedding parties. The main lodge has suites and studios. The resort is open year-round, offering boat and canoe rentals, a swimming dock, and a sauna room. The Lutsen ski resort is about 30 minutes away, and there are plenty of snowmobiling and cross-country trails for winter sports enthusiasts.
