    Roche Harbor

    • Roche Harbor resort is on San Juan Island, only a 25-minute ferry ride from the Washington mainland in the northwestern part of the state. This resort offers chances for water activities during the summer, such as fishing and boating excursions. The resort's marina features boat slips, picnic areas with barbecue grills and hook-ups for water and electricity. Other resort amenities include kayaking rentals, massage therapies at the Afterglow Spa and three on-site restaurants: Lime Kiln Cafe, Madrona and McMillin's. Breakfast and lunch are served at Lime Kiln, while McMillin's and Madrona serves dinner.     Great Wolf Lodge

    • Great Wolf Lodge is in Western Washington, an hour south of Olympia. This indoor water park resort features the River Canyon Run tube slide, the three-story Totem Towers water slide and the six-story funnel-style Howlin Tornado. Amenities include a shopping center with retail stores, as well as the Elements Spa Salon that offers facial treatments and pedicures. The resort's on-site restaurant, Loose Moose Cottage, serves breakfast and dinner in a buffet-style.     Mission Ridge

    • Mission Ridge is a ski resort in central Washington's Wenatchee National Forest, featuring 36 skiing and snowboarding trails. The ski season at this resort runs from November through April, depending on the amount of snowfall. Skiing and snowboarding lessons are offered to children and adults. The resort also has a ski village that includes retail stores and restaurants. Although no lodging is present at the resort, cabin accommodations can be found in the nearby areas of Lake Chelan and Leavenworth. Both locations are within 20 minutes of the resort.

    Klink's Williams Lake Resort

    • Klink's Williams Lake Resort is in Eastern Washington, less than 20 minutes east of Interstate 90. This summertime resort is on Williams Lake, and the resort's guests have opportunities for fishing and boating excursions on the lake. Boat rentals are provided by the resort, and a convenience store that sells groceries and fishing equipment is on the resort's property. Other amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, private beach on the lake, shower and restroom facilities, access to Wi-Fi Internet and a pavilion for gatherings.
