Marco Island is a world-class vacation site in the mangrove islands of southwest Florida’s coast. As the name says, this establishment houses both a liquor store and a night club on the same property. A bit of a dive bar, the club’s DJ plays music that is usually of the techno and hip-hop genre. Also, every Wednesday night is karaoke night. This bar is quite inexpensive, so you can expect the place to be packed—mostly with younger adults—and sometimes it’s rowdy, too. If you’re a Marco Island tourist, the Bombay is the perfect place to party like a local. The Bombay is open Monday through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., while the club itself is open from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Established in 1992, Porky’s Last Stand has a reputation for the best seafood and steaks in the area and is especially famous for its slow-smoked barbecue. Porky’s has a lounge that is set aside entirely for entertainment such as live music, dancing, karaoke and comedy acts from local entertainers. Every night at Porky’s has a special theme: Saturday is a Ladies’ Night, and Karaoke Nights and Pool Nights rotate on different evenings. Originally named “Snook Hole,” Snook Inn has been a staple on Marco Island for 30 years. It is a waterfront restaurant that serves a wide array of American and Island specialties as well as steaks, sandwiches and seafood. Snook Inn has a full bar, the Chickee, which provides nightly entertainment. Bands play live music seven nights a week, and the bar has an elaborate selection of drinks—including wine, spirits and frozen non-alcoholic beverages.
