The Water Crest Cottages & Motel borders the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Preserve in beautiful Wells, Maine. The Water Crest offers more than 50 cottages on 7 1/2 acres.
The cottages come in all different sizes. The smallest cottage has one bedroom and one bath and can accommodate two people. Larger cottages have one or two bedrooms, sleeper sofas in the combination living room and kitchen, one bath or two baths and can accommodate four to eight people. The largest cottage has a full kitchen, a dining room, a living room, two baths, three bathrooms and beautiful views.
Although each cottage is unique, they all have fully equipped kitchens with a microwave, cable TV with VCR, a phone and air-conditioning. You can bring you own linens, or Water Crest will provide linens for a fee.
Kids will enjoy playing at the on-site playground, and the facility is building an in-ground pool. You will enjoy Wells' miles of sandy beaches or the pristine trails bordering the salt marshes at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm Farm.
Shopping, for both old and new items, abounds in Wells' antique shops and nearby at the Kittery Premium Outlets.

Located within a mile of Wells Beach, the New Harbor View Cottages offer 12 different cottages for your next vacation. The cottages all offer baths with showers, fully equipped kitchens and screened porches.
Relax in the rooms appointed with knotty pine and enjoy the air-conditioning while watching cable TV. The one-bedroom cottages can accommodate two people and do not have separate living rooms. The two-bedroom cottages can accommodate four to six people, and the kitchens also include dishwashers and microwaves. Each two-bedroom cottage has separate living rooms, skylights and fireplace stoves. The cottages are located on the Wells Trolley line, which allows you to explore Wells, from the beaches to the famous Maine Diner.
You also can transfer to the Ogunquit Trolley and explore Ogunquit Beach and Perkins Cove. Keep in mind that the Wells Trolley does operate daily but only in the summer months.
If you're looking for some Wells nighttime fun, movie theaters and restaurants are within walking distance.

Bordering a tidal estuary and just a stone's throw from Crescent Beach is Moody's Cottages. Moody's Cottages offer one- and two-bedroom cottages all with cable TV, a living area with sleeper sofas and fully equipped kitchens with microwaves and dishes.
The one-bedroom cottage has a queen bed, and the two-bedroom cottages have a queen bed and two twin beds. You will have to bring your own towels and bed sheets, or they can be provided for a fee. All the cottages have decks, and some cottages have views of the neighboring estuary.
There is an on-site, coin-operated laundry and an area with picnic tables and lounge chairs. For your convenience, there are additional showers outside the cottages so you can rinse off after a day frolicking in the surf. If you desire to see more than the ocean, hop on the Wells Trolley, which stops in front of the cottages during the summer months.
