• The Dunes on the Waterfront offers 17 guest rooms and 19 cottages, just steps from the ocean. Located on 12 acres of land along the Ogunquit Tidal River, the Dunes is also in close proximity to spas, golf courses, art galleries and shopping. The hotel features New England-style cottages with full kitchens and baths, screened porches and wood-burning fireplaces. Cottages come in suite, one- and two-bedroom sizes, accommodating from two to five guests. Cottages require minimum stays of three days; longer stays are required in the months of July and August.

• Located four miles north of Ogunquit in Wells Beach, Moody's Cottages is steps from the beach and marshlands, with views in every direction. Cottages feature full kitchens and baths, living rooms with sofa beds, decks and picnic areas with lounge chairs. All cottages include electric heat and cable television. One- and two-bedroom cottages are available, as well as guest rooms with queen-size beds. The Ogunquit Trolley stops in front of the Moody's property, taking visitors to Kennebunkport, Ogunquit Beach, Marginal Way and other popular locations. Rates vary by season, and minimum stays may be required.

New Harbor View Cottages

• New Harbor View Cottages is located in the seaside town of Wells, just off Route 1 and eight minutes north of Ogunquit. New Harbor features 12 furnished cottages with full kitchens and baths, porches, air conditioning and cable television. One- and two-bedroom cottages are available. One-bedroom cottages are intended for two guests and do not have a separate living room; two-bedroom cottages add a living room and can comfortably accommodate up to six. Local activities include antique shopping, movie theaters and the Ogunquit Trolley, all within walking distance. New Harbor allows pets with a deposit and additional daily fee.
