Without a reservation, spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The 446 campsites include 210 with full hoo-ups of water, sewer and electricity for RVs, and 191 have partial hookups of water and sewer for tents, pop-ups and RVs. There are 45 primitive, tent-only sites. Amenities include grills, picnic tables and fire rings at each site, as well as heated comfort stations and laundry facilities. There is a children's playground, swimming pool, volleyball court and on-site general store.

For those who love car racing, camping is available on the grounds of the Atlanta Motor Speedway on event weekends. There are reserved and non-reserved spaces outside the Speedway, infield locations, as well as campsites overlooking the Speedway. Rates vary upon location and vehicle. Infield camping has showers at each end of the infield and a dump station between turns one and two. Family camping areas outside the Speedway have areas for both RVs and pop-up campers. All camp areas have 24-hour security. There are also 36 spaces reserved for handicapped campers in RVs.

The Atlanta Marietta RV Resort is only 13 miles from Atlanta. It offers wooded sites complete with patios, and close to shopping, restaurants, white-water rafting and amusement parks. Amenities include free cable TV, water and sewer hookup, laundromat, electric at each site, shower suites, swimming pool and Internet connections available in the office.
