The resort does not allow tents, and although pets are welcome, they must stay on leashes at all times. Established in 1837 and located in Red Top Mountain State Park, Marietta Campground is a scenic place to take your family on vacations. Whether your family enjoys fishing in Sheffer Lake, golfing at nearby North Fulton Golf Course, or swimming and whitewater paddling in the Rottenwood Creek, there is always something to do. For nearly 200 years, Marietta campground has been the location for Marietta camp meetings, a local religious meeting.

Located just 15 miles from Marietta, Georgia, Stone Mountain Park Campground is located in Stone Mountain Park, a popular Georgia tourist attraction. Reservations are not required, but spaces fill up quickly so they are recommended. You must be at least 18 years old to rent a camping site. There are 446 campsites, many with full water, electricity and sewer hook-ups. There are also 45 campsites reserved for tent camping. Grills, picnic tables and fire rings are available at each site. Laundry facilities are located within the park. Check in is from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Check out is at noon. Several packages and discounted rates are available.
