Campgrounds in Commerce, Georgia

Camping can be an inexpensive and fun alternative to staying in hotels while on vacation. There are a few campgrounds in Commerce, Georgia, and the surrounding areas. Each campground varies in amenities offered and activities at the sites. Some of the campgrounds also offer RV parking.
  1. Pottery Campground

    • Located next to the Pottery Plant, the Pottery Campground is large enough for both RVs and tents. Amenities at the Pottery Campground include a bath house, Internet access, laundry facility and a swimming pool. If traveling by RV, the campground has seven hookups and dumping stations, if needed. Each campsite has a barbecue area and fireplace. Security cameras are located throughout the campsite for additional protection.

    Country Boy's RV Park

    • Surrounded by the Green Mountain Valley, the Country Boy's RV Park is located by the Confederate Highway. The campground site has both 30- and 50-amp hookups for RVs, designated areas for tents and cabins that are available for rent. Country Boy's RV Park offers complimentary wireless Internet access and hookups for cable TV. The campsite is pet-friendly but owners are limited to two-pets only. It is required that pets stay on a leash at all times and are not aggressive. Amenities at the campground include a swimming pool, playground and a barbecue area. Mountain biking, fishing and hiking trails are located by the Country Boy's RV Park.

    Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests: Lake Russell Campground

    • The Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests has 32 campgrounds and RV Parks located throughout the property. Each campground varies in size and amenities. The Lake Russell Recreation Area, located in the forests Chattooga River District, has 42 campsites available for RVs and tents. There are hookups and dumping stations for the RVs, if needed. Amenities at the campsite include a beach, swimming area, bath house and a barbecue grill. There is no electricity available at the campsite. The Lake Russell Campground is 24 miles from Commerce, Georgia.
