Stone Mountain Park Campground is located eighteen miles west of downtown Atlanta in Stone Mountain Memorial State Park. It offers 446 sites, of which 210 are full hook-up, 191 partial hook-up and 45 rustic. Sites include a grill, fire ring and picnic table with wireless Internet available at select sites. Facility amenities include an outdoor pool, playground and volleyball court. There's also a camp store.
There are rowboat rentals for Stone Mountain Lake, which is adjacent to the campground. Stone Mountain Park has many attractions which are less then a mile from the campground and include a sky ride, riverboat tour and plantation tour.
