High Falls State Park is home to 103 campsites for RV and tent camping. Each site has water and electrical hookups, fire ring, grill and picnic table. Bathrooms with hot showers are on-site as well as laundry facilities. Six yurts are also available for camping and include a deck, water, electricity, heat and five beds. Park amenities include hiking trails, canoe rental, kayak rental, playground, swimming pool, mini-golf course, fishing area and geo-caching. Nearby attractions to the campground include Jarrell Plantation Historic Site, Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge and the Oconee National Forest.

Indian Springs Park is a short distance away from High Falls, also in Jackson. The park has 88 campsites and 10 cottages for camping. RVs and tents can be accommodated and the grounds include picnic shelters, a playground and nature trail. Campers can take advantage of the many activities found at this oldest state park in the nation. Rent a boat for some fishing or swim in Lake McIntosh. Visit the museum, which highlights the history of the park. Mini-golf and geo-caching are also found on-site. Nearby attractions include the governor’s mansion, Brooks recreation area and Hickory Hills Golf Course.
