Tugaloo is the Indian name for the river that flowed in the area before Hartwell Dam was built. Tugaloo State Park features 113 campsites, including developed and primitive tent camping sites and trailer and RV camping sites. All camping sites require a fee. The trailer and RV camping sites feature cable TV and all hookups. Some of the campgrounds close for the season in November. In addition to camping sites, the park offers cottages, including some that are dog-friendly.
Tugaloo State Park offers picnic shelters, a group shelter and a pavilion. A pioneer campground is available for group outings. Finally, the park offers tennis courts and a swimming beach with a bathhouse.

Hart State Park features 78 campsites near the scenic shore of Lake Hartwell. All campsites include water and electrical hookups. The nearby comfort station and pumping station add to the conveniences of this park. Campsites are available for tent, trailer or RV camping. This campground is open from March to September. Hart State Park offers a boat ramp and many hiking and bicycling trails.

Victoria Bryant State Park has 35 campsites. Of these, 27 are tent, trailer or RV sites and 8 are platform tent sites. There are also 2 pioneer group camps for up to 75 people.
In addition to camping, Victoria Bryant State Park has a pool, a golf course, playgrounds, fishing ponds, a nature center and 5 picnic shelters. Camping and golfing packages are available.
