    • Located about 30 miles from center-city Cincinnati, this 134-site campground is an excellent base for visitors who plan to spend time at the popular Kings Island Amusement Park, which is only 8 miles away. Full hookups are available at 84 sites, water/electric only at another 31, and no hookups at 19 sites. With 26 pull-through sites, the campground is able to accommodate big rigs, and daily, weekly and monthly rates are posted. Other amenities include free wireless Internet access, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a playground, a camp store, showers, restrooms, a basketball court and a horseshoe pit.

    Hidden Valley RV Park

    • This RV campground offers little in the way of on-site amenities but is the closest to downtown Cincinnati by far. Roughly 7 miles north-northeast of center city, Hidden Valley is close to Interstates 71, 75 and 275. Open year-round, the facility also offers long-term storage for recreational vehicles and mobile homes. Full hookups, including cable TV and high-speed Internet access, are available here, and the campground's streets are paved.

    Indian Springs Campground

    • This 60-site campground is 27 miles west of Cincinnati, close to Ohio's borders with both Indiana and Kentucky. Full hookups are provided at all sites, 13 of which are pull-throughs, allowing the campground to accommodate RVs of all sizes. Daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal rates are posted. Located beside a 16-acre lake, the campground offers fishing and boating as well as other amenities that include a playground, a walking trail, a game room, a barber shop, a bathhouse and two dump stations. Indian Springs is only a short drive from gambling casinos in nearby Lawrenceburg and Rising Sun, Indiana.

    Steamboat Bend Campground

    • Operated by the Hamilton County Park District, this campground overlooks the Ohio River and is about 20 minutes east of center-city Cincinnati and only 5 minutes from the Riverbend Music Center. The campground has 55 wooded campsites that are reserved for self-contained RVs. Electric and water hookups are available, and the campground has a dump station. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are posted.
