Tobesofkee Recreation Area has three public parks and is about 20 minutes from Byron, Georgia. Arrowhead and Claystone parks are open year round and offer spacious campsites for tent and RV campers. Both campgrounds have disposal stations, as well as lakefront or lake-view sites, charcoal grills, picnic tables, boat ramps, shower facilities, coin-operated laundries and full-time park rangers. Tent camping is permitted in RV sites, and each site is limited to one RV, pop-up, trailer or family tent, an additional small tent and two vehicles. However, there is no tent camping in pull-through or sewer-access sites. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Enjoy fishing, boating, picnicking and swimming in Lake Tobesofkee. An overnight tent camping rate for both parks is based on four people, with an additional charge for each person over six years old.
