Mount Nebo State Park was originally designated as a park in 1933. A total of 34 individual campsites have been established on the 1,350-foot tall mountain since then, including RV sites, primitive tent sites and cabin rentals. Recreational vehicles over 24 feet in length are not recommended, however, due to the rocky terrain of the park. Amenities at the Mount Nebo State Park include a children's playground, pool, tennis court and visitor center. Bicycle rentals are available.

Turner Bend Campground is located just off of Highway 23 and right next to the Mulberry River in Ozark, Arkansas. Camping is $8 per night, which includes such amenities as restrooms, hot showers, picnic shelters and fire pits. Kayak and canoe rentals are also available for guests who want to brave the rapids of the Mulberry River.
