Ocean Front RV Campgrounds in Maine

Driving the RV up to Maine at most times of the year can make for a nice, relaxing trip. The harsh winter months aren't a popular camping time in this northern state, but temperatures during the warm months are ideal for hanging out near the northern Atlantic coast. Maine has several options for those who would like to hook up the RV at an ocean-front campground.
  1. Moorings Oceanfront RV Resort

    • The ocean is literally just outside the front door of your RV at Moorings Oceanfront RV Resort in Belfast, Maine. This campground resort offers 44 sites with water hookups and 30- or 50-amp electrical connections. A mobile sewer service takes care of the rest of your utility needs.

You can launch an ocean kayak right from the resort's own private beach. At night, you can settle around a campfire at any of the sites where a pit is ready for use. Amenities include a playground, horseshoe area, laundry room, and bathhouses with restroom facilities and hot showers. The on-site restaurant offers a holiday weekend lobster feast during special event weekends.
