The Cypress Gardens Campground and RV Park is in eastern Winter Haven, right off Cypress Gardens Boulevard. The mobile home park allows pets to stay with their owners for no extra charge, as of March 2011, but they must stay away from the outdoor pool area. On-site recreation facilities include a miniature golf course, paved walking and bicycling path, shuffleboard court and playground. A storage facility is available. The campground has 120 pull-through sites with hookups for water, electricity, sewage and cable television. The RV campsites also have private patios. The campground offers monthly rates.
Eastern Winter Haven's Hammondell Campsites is within walking distance of fishing and boating facilities at Lake Fox. Pets may stay at Hammondell for no extra cost, but they must be on a leash when out of the RV. This campground has 135 RV sites with electric, water, sewage and cable television hookups. Wi-Fi Internet is available throughout the park. Hammondell's amenities include a picnic area with barbecue grills, dump station, bathroom facilities and an outdoor swimming pool. The Right Way Food store and a 7-Eleven are within walking distance of the park for grocery needs.
Situated in Haines City, the Oak Harbor RV Park is a 15-minute drive from Winter Haven and rests on the shores of Lake Lowery. The campground offers guests access to a private fishing pier and boat launch; the RV park also offers pontoon boat rentals. Other RV park amenities include a playground, shower facilities and nature trails throughout the campground's property. Oak Harbor has 198 RV sites with hook-ups for electricity, water, cable television and sewage. Sites with tree shade are available. Pets may stay in RVs, but must be on a leash when on the campground's property.
Winter Haven is a 25-minute drive from Themeworld RV Resort in Davenport; the mobile home park is right off Interstate 4. This RV park allows pets to stay for free, as of March 2011. The campground has 263 RV sites and 19 mobile home rentals. The RV sites have hookups for electricity, water, sewage and cable television. Themeworld also has a playground, picnic area, dump station, heated swimming pool and shower facilities. A clubhouse is available for group gatherings; the clubhouse has a kitchen. The RV park is less than 20 minutes from the Walt Disney World Resort.
