Over 55 Years Old & Pet Friendly RV Parks in Florida

Florida is one of America's most popular retirement locations, and the state's year-round warm weather and low cost of living appeal to wintertime visitors as well as those seeking permanent residence. For the over-55 traveler with a four-legged companion, Florida offers several pet-friendly RV parks.
  1. Lake Bonnet Village

    • Lake Bonnet Village, in central Avon Park, boasts a waterfront location on the 260-acre Lake Bonnet and surrounding woods. Other park amenities include laundry facilities, pools, an exercise room, hot tubs, showers, fish cleaning stations, a dump station, a library and club houses that overlook the lake. Featured activities at Lake Bonnet Village include arts and crafts classes, bingo, horseshoes and line dancing. Guests at the park can enjoy nearby attractions such as golf, fishing on Lake Bonnet or other nearby lakes, and hiking and biking trails. Shopping and restaurants are within 10 miles. Two pets per site are welcome, as long as they do not weigh more than 30 pounds each.
