Lake Bonnet Village is a 55-and-over, resident-owned RV resort located on the shores of Lake Bonnet, a 260-acre lake in Avon Park. The park consists of 175 RV sites, all of which have access to 30- or 50- amp electric hookups, as well as water, cable TV and a dump station. Up to two pets per RV are welcome at the park. Lake Bonnet Village offers daily and weekly rates. Monthly rates are available in increments of one to two months, three months and four to six months. Amenities include a laundry, restrooms and showers. The park also offers two boat ramps, a fish-cleaning station, two heated pools and a hot tub.

Alligator Park is a resident-owned RV park for people aged 55 and up in Punta Gorda. Alligator Park offers daily, weekly and monthly rates, with a slight variation in prices depending on the season. Sites come with 30- or 50-amp electric hookups. Pets of all types including dogs, cats and birds are allowed at the park, with the exception of guard dogs such as pit bulls and rottweilers. Amenities include an on-site pool, 50 acres of paved, lighted paths for walking and biking, and a clubhouse.

Situated by the Indian river, Orbit offers grassy RV sites, many of which come with picnic tables and are large enough to accommodate big rigs. Amenities include restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a fishing dock and a clubhouse with dial-up Internet.
