Picacho Peak RV Resort is located at the base of Picacho Peak. The park is a 55-plus community with a daily rate of $30, including electricity (rates as of 2010). Park amenities include some sites with phone hookups, showers and restrooms, exercise room, clubhouse, pool, Jacuzzi and library.

RVs are allowed at Picacho Peak State Park. The park has a total of 85 sites for both tent and RV camping. Access to all sites is paved, and 62 of the sites are equipped with 20-, 30- and 50-amp receptacles. Restrooms are available with hot showers, and the area has a dump station and potable water. Please note that at the time of writing, the State Park is under threat of closing in 2010 because of state budget cuts. Visit the park website before planning your visit.

Picacho Campground is a privately owned campground that welcomes both tents and RVs. There are 70 sites available for RVs with daily, weekly and monthly rates available. The daily rate is $20 plus tax as of 2010. Facilities include laundry, restrooms, heated pool, hot tub and recreation hall; pets are welcome on a leash.

Located just north of Picacho, Desert Valley RV Resort is a privately owned, 350-nit RV park. It is a gated community for campers ages 55 and above. The daily rate is $34 as of 2010 (electricity and satellite TV are included) for up to two people. Amenities include WiFi, computer room with Internet, kitchen facility, restrooms, showers, phone jack at each lot, laundry, fitness center, heated pool, jacuzzi, shuffleboard, horseshoes and a banquet hall.
