The Vineyards Campground & Cabins is close to Grapevine's historic district and sits on the southeastern bank of Grapevine Lake. The Vineyards has 65 sites available with full hookups and either 20, 30 or 50-amp electrical services at each spot. The campground also has a number of pull-thru sites and is big rig accessible. Amenities at The Vineyards include a group pavilion, wireless Internet, 24-hour security patrol, waterfront access, laundry facilities and boat ramps. On-site activities at The Vineyards include a fishing pier, nature trail, playground, and a sand volleyball court.

A short distance northwest of Grapevine is the town of Roanoke and the Northlake Village RV Park. Northlake Village has a number of RV camping sites with full hookups and can accommodate RVs up to 45-feet long. Either 20, 30 or 50-amp electrical services are available at each site. Amenities at Northlake Village RV Park include a laundry facility, cable television, security lights, on-site management and parking for two vehicles. Bathroom and shower facilities are not available at his particular RV park.

The Texas Motor Speedway, located southwest of Grapevine in Fort Worth, offers racing fans the unique opportunity to camp out at the speedway. There are over 8,500 sites available that are spread over seven different surrounding campgrounds, including infield and burnout alley camping. Texas Motor Speedway only offers camping during event weekends. While there are no hookups at Texas Motor Speedway for electric, water and sewer, the speedway has waste removal and water refill services available. There are large shower facilities and bathrooms available for guests, as well as a grocery concession stand.
