Almost Heaven RV Resort is south of Houston near Pearland and Manvel, Texas. It is close to Houston Medical Center and many other Houston sports and convention facilities. The park has pull-through sites with full hook-ups and 30- or 50-amp electrical power. It also has back-in sites with the choice of electricity. Premium all-concrete sites are available with advanced registration. Weekly guests have a three-week limit. A 10 percent discount is offered to military, RV club and AARP members. Pets are allowed, with breed restrictions.

Rivers Inn RV Park is on 16 acres just south of Houston in the Silverlake community. The park has fishing ponds and horse riding facilities. The 30 RV sites are either gravel or concrete. Each site has full hook-ups with a 20-, 30- or 50-amp electrical connection and phone connections. It has both back-in and pull-through sites. Each site also comes with two additional parking spaces. A laundry facility and dumpster are on site, both of which are open 24 hours a day, as well as a picnic area. The park is close to NASA's Johnson Space Center and Bayou Wildlife Park. Rivers Inn RV Park is under round-the-clock security patrol.
