Photography Policy at Chicago's Field Museum

Photography is generally permitted in public areas of the Field Museum, including most exhibits and galleries. However, restrictions apply in:

• Certain temporary exhibitions
• Regenstein Hall of Gems
• Cyrus Tang Hall of China
• Conservation labs and behind-the-scenes areas

Guidelines: No flash in most exhibits; tripods/monopods generally prohibited. Always check with staff if unsure. Be respectful of other visitors and objects.
