How to Join HomeLink International

HomeLink International is a service that links homeowners all over the world. At HomeLink, registered members are eligible to swap or trade their homes with people from all over the world for vacations. The vacations can be as short as a weekend get-away or an extended vacation. Some homeowners offer their private cars and boats in the trade. Here are some tips about joining HomeLink.

Go to the HomeLink International website to learn more about HomeLink members and services. Members in the USA can order a directory for an extra fee. The directory has a listing of every HomeLink house available for trade, with information about the location, the size of the home, amenities included and points of interest close to the home.

Click on the "Join Now" button to access the membership application form if you want to be able to trade your home for vacation use. The application asks for the standard name, address, zip and phone number information. The HomeLink application then gets more in depth about the home you are offering to trade and the types of homes you'd like to go to. Information on the application includes a description of your home and the location, your occupation, the number of people in your family and their ages, the time of year your home is available, and whether you are interested in "hosting" another member. The application for HomeLink also includes information about what you are willing to let other members use in your home and local amenities, as well as special notes about pets and smoking.
