How to Anchor Offset Umbrellas

Using a sand anchor is a simple way to ensure your offset beach umbrella stays firmly anchored into the sand, saving your beach day and preventing any embarrassment caused by a wayward umbrella.

Push the sand anchor into the sand.

Grab the handles of the sand anchor and twist clockwise.

Twist the handles of the sand anchor until it is almost totally submerged in the sand.

Insert the end of the umbrella into the sand anchor.

Clamp down the stabilizing handles of the sand anchor to hold the umbrella in place. Some anchors also feature a screw that can be tightened by hand to hold the umbrella in place.
