The city of New York offers a wide selection of restaurants that have cool features and a wide variety of menu items.     • La Esquina sits in a restored diner car and serves authentic Mexican food. The upper level of the restaurant features a small lunch counter for take-out orders, and a cafe that features full brunch, lunch and dinner menus. Through a secret door, guests can walk down into the upscale restaurant located in the basement and order cocktails or dine, while listening to DJs play music. The restaurant is located in Soho, and sits between between Kenmare and Lafayette streets. Private parties and events are also available at the venue.

    Ninja New York

    • Ninja New York is located in the Financial District of New York City, and the dining area sits within a replicated Ninja castle. The individual dining rooms are located within a maze, where guests can dine in privacy and rooms can be opened for parties. The wait staff dresses in ninja gear, and signature Japanese dishes feature a ninja theme, including Katana, which is Angus steak, fried risotto and Alaskan king crab. Other main dishes include teriyaki chicken, pork toban, ribeye steak and ninja paella. Guests should wear upscale attire, and may need to make reservations. Private parties are available for up to 32 individuals.

    John's Pizzeria

    • Located in Times Square, John's Pizzeria is housed in a renovated church and features a mural of New York City on the back wall. A giant staircase leads to a second floor, and the location is available for birthdays, bar mitzvahs, premieres, weddings, release parties and private events. While the casual restaurant serves a variety of Italian dishes, the featured special is homemade, thin crust pizza. Unlike other pizza establishments in New York, the restaurant's slogan is "No Slices" and exclusively serves whole pizza pies.

    Tom's Restaurant

    • Open since the 1940s, Tom's Restaurant is located in the Morningside Heights section of New York and sits in close proximity to Columbia University. The exterior of the casual restaurant was featured in the sitcom ''Seinfeld'' as Monk's Cafe, where the characters would often gather to dine and have coffee. Numerous souvenirs are sold at the restaurant that celebrate the restaurant and ''Seinfeld'' characters. In addition to omelets, breakfast sandwiches, soups, wraps, salads, steak and seafood, the signature items on the menu include a cheeseburger and milkshake.
