Lounges in Hollywood

Hollywood offers an array of lounges, ranging from the intimate and upscale to larger lounge/nightclub combinations, featuring big parties and high-end entertainment. Prepare for a night of dancing and mingling or perhaps a cocktail and tapas with your significant other. Hollywood lounges tend be exclusive, so make sure you wear your classiest attire.
  1. Boulevard 3

    • Boulevard 3 was opened in 2006 by Peter Famulari, co-owner of West Hollywood's highly successful Skybar. The club and lounge has a luxurious English mansion theme, featuring an expansive garden courtyard, library lounge and a three-level, 7,500-square-foot ballroom. The courtyard is located at the entrance, greeting customers with regal landscaping such as reflective pools headed by a 20-foot fireplace. Canopied, outdoor rooms feature a private experience with distinct fragrances and ambient lighting. Indoors, the library lounge with its vaulted ceilings and its mix of classical artwork and contemporary media highlight Boulevard 3's old-world-meets-new-world statement. After the library, guests may pass into the ballroom, which features a 1,500-square-foot dance floor, lounge mezzanine and VIP balcony, all bathed with LED lights. For refreshments and entertainment, Boulevard 3 has a large main bar as well as a stage where performers from DJs to circus acts awe the crowd.

    VICE Hollywood

    • VICE Hollywood is a small and exclusive, upscale lounge. Seating consists of black leather sofas and banquettes as well as short, candle-lit tables. The room has a rather minimal decor, consisting of some exposed brick and mirrors, animated by ambient neon lighting. While bottle-service is the focus of the VICE drinking experience, patrons may also order top-shelf cocktails and beer at the VICE bar. As the night progresses, patrons flood onto the dance floor for top 40, hip hop and R&B hits; Tuesday nights introduce a change of pace with rock 'n roll night. DJs and dancers provide most of the entertainment as VICE hosts a variety of special events throughout the week. Valet Parking is available.

    Bar Marmont

    • Located inside the luxurious Chateau Marmont hotel, Bar Marmount is a gastronomic lounge that focuses more on well-matched food and drink than dancing and entertainment. This upscale, laid-back venue features coral red and cream interiors with little black tables and chairs; burning candles and faint hues of red light reinforce the lounge's sensual feel. Executive chef Carolynn Spence introduces Manhattan style and French flavors with such dishes as gnocchi, vegetable summer rolls and french onion soup. The menu features a variety of smaller plates for snacking as well as full meals like porterhouse steak and lamb shank. Top shelf cocktails and apertifs include a variety of signature concoctions, such as the Mediterra with vodka, honey syrup and fresh fig purée.
