• The Hair of the Dog Pub is situated in downtown Chattanooga on Market Street. The bar has a English neighborhood bar ambiance and is within walking distance of the Tennessee River and the city's aquarium. A hand-operated dumb waiter transports food to the second floor, which has dart boards, pool tables and a jukebox. The Hair of the Dog Pub offers daily food specials and has more than 50 different selections of beer. The menu includes a dessert of the week and a soup of the week, along with entrees such as fried chicken, meat loaf and grilled salmon.

Market Street Tavern

• The Market Street Tavern is next to Miller Plaza on Market Street and features live bands on Friday and Saturday evenings. Other weekly events include an open mic night on Wednesdays, fiesta night with reduced prices on tacos and margaritas on Tuesdays and live jazz with half-price wine on Wednesdays. Large-screen TVs allow patrons to watch sports at a bar that has a daily happy hour with reduced drinks and serves both lunch and dinner. Another favorite is Market Street's Pints & Pounds special on Saturday, consisting of a pound of wings and a draft pint of beer for less than $9.

• Table 2 is a restaurant with a popular bar area and an adjoining lounge. The bar serves a wide variety of wines as well as specialty drinks. Table 2 also has a private dining room for special events and parties that can accommodate up to 75 people and comes with two plasma TVs and a full-service bar. Patrons can drink and eat outside on a patio in front of the bar, which is two blocks east of Market Street next to Chattanooga's City Hall. Table 2 promotes its fresh and organic produce, grown by local farmers. Live musical entertainment is offered on selected evenings in the bar.
