Write down "9/5" or type it into your calculator. As a decimal, "9/5" is represented as "1.8."
Multiply "9/5" by the Celsius temperature.
Add "32" to the number you get after step 2. This will be the Fahrenheit temperature.
Write down or type into your calculator the Fahrenheit temperature you want to convert.
Subtract "32" from the Fahrenheit temperature.
Divide the number you receive after step 2 by "5/9," which is represented by "0.556" as a decimal. You now have converted Fahrenheit to Celsius.
