With a population of little more than 100,000, this city does not have a very big nightlife scene, especially when it comes to larger dance clubs. However, if you are looking for a night of dancing in Lowell, Massachusetts, there are some venues with DJs and live bands that should satisfy your urge to move.
The Brewery Exchange is a restaurant, bar and nightclub with a variety of entertainment and an expansive menu of typical American bar and diner food. Enjoy a draught or bottled beer with one of many entrees or appetizers, including burgers, soups, salads, wraps as well as wings and classic fried appetizers. A lounge area has wide-screen TVs, billiards tables, darts and other games. If you're up to it, ride The Brewery's mechanical bull. For live music and dancing, The Brewery has a large dance area and stage with an 800+ person capacity along with a loft which accommodates up to 300 more. Live bands are typically rock and roll or alternative; famous acts such as Staind, Joshua Tree, and Tiger Lily have performed here at The Brewery Exchange.
