After a long day of sightseeing around Glasgow, one of the best ways to unwind is with a night on the town. Glasgow has a strong nightlife scene with almost endless clubs lining the street. These nightclubs are for any age and offer beer, cocktails and a wide range of music.
The Cathouse is one of Glasgow's most popular alternative rock clubs. This club has two levels of dance floors and is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Each floor has a different theme every night. For example, on Thursdays the top floor plays emo and pop-punk, while the first level is dedicated to death metal. Drink specials are available every night and covers are never more than 10 pounds. The Cathouse also has a club called Voo Doo for anyone under the age of 18.

The Classic Grand is a rock club in Glasgow that not only houses live gigs, but weekly dance parties as well. The building has two dance floors and four venues for live acts. The gigs are more expensive than normal cover. The dance floors are open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. These nights there are a variety of drink specials from sponsors. There are also house DJs that play each night and spin a different type of rock music. Friday nights are punk and metal.

The Garage is a popular double-story club for students in Glasgow. The club has two floors, the Main Hall and Attic. Each dance floor has a different type of music or activity every night of the week. Most nights it's just Top 40 hits or rock music spun by house DJs. On Tuesdays, karaoke is held on one dance floor while the other is used for dancing. Drink specials are available Mondays through Thursdays and the cover charge is discounted if you arrive before 11:30 p.m.
