• Age 16 is the minimum at The Vault, and patrons generally range to age 22. It's completely alcohol-free, instead offering a full assortment of sodas, juices, smoothies and energy drinks at the bar. The dance club features guest deejays on weekends and a laser light show on its expansive dance floor. It's also home to an oxygen bar, outdoor patio and VIP section for private parties. The cover charge ranges from $10 to $15 on weekend nights. The Vault does have a dress code that prohibits sneakers, sportswear and caps for both men and women.

Studio 600

• Studio 600 is both alcohol and smoke free, allowing the 18-and-older crowd. The dance club regularly hosts karaoke nights, group country dance lessons and salsa-themed evenings. Most weekends a deejay spins tunes on one of the dance floors, but live bands occasionally take the stage. The cover charge depends on the evening's events, so call ahead to get the scoop. Studio 600's dress code requires modest dress for both sexes. Forbidden are open or revealing shirts, short shorts and skirts or dresses above the knee.

Salsa Chocolate

• Salsa Chocolate, an 18-and-up dance club, features salsa dancing to deejays nearly every night. On Thursday nights, they host a live salsa band and offer free dance lessons from 9 to 10 p.m. on its huge hardwood dance floor. Both couples and single dancers are welcome. The non-alcoholic bar serves a wide selection of soda, juice and energy drinks, as well as snow cones. A cover charge, which varies by evening, applies most nights. Though there is not a strict dress code, patrons are encouraged to dress to impress: no jeans, sneakers, T-shirts or sportswear.
