Burger King, the famous "Home of the Whopper," has a location in Schiphol Plaza's food court in the arrivals area. The menu in The Netherlands is not unlike the American version. Whoppers and fries are still staples of this restaurant's existence, and the Amsterdam facility offers salads, desserts, fish and chicken options, as well as a kid's menu, for reasonable prices.

Boeddha is a Chinese restaurant that opened in 2006 inside the control tower in Amsterdam Airport Schiphol's old section. The original restaurant, De Oude Toren, closed in early 2006 and was converted into a Cantonese and Szechuan dining destination. The unique building provides a bird's eye view of the newer side of the airport and includes a "Sky Bar" perched atop the tower. Although more expensive than most of the airport's other dining options, Boeddha is a completely different experience because of its location.
