Dial the three digit international prefix used for dialing outside of the United States. The prefix is 011 for dialing outside the United States.
Dial the two-digit country code for Germany, which is 49.
Dial the two- to five-digit city code for the German city in which you are calling. In this case, for calling Frankfurt, Germany, the city code would be 69. If you were calling Nuremburg, the code would be 911.
Dial the three- to nine-digit personal phone number for the party you are trying to reach in Germany. The entire dialing sequence would be 011+49+69+ the party's nine-digit phone number.
