Also known as the Prince's Palace of Monaco, Palais du Prince is the official residence of the Prince of Monaco. Palais du Prince features a blend of varying architectural styles with its terrace of Renaissance style palazzi, common rusticated ground floor, crenellations, machicolations and frescoed open arcades. Built in 1215 as a fortress and ramparts, tourists can visit the state apartments open for public visits that feature 15 rooms such as the Mirror Gallery used for visiting royalty and heads of state; Red Room with displays of artwork by Flemish painters; York Room featuring four seasons ambiance; and the Throne Room, which is the official venue of official ceremonies and state receptions.

Opened in 1933, Jardin Exotique de Monaco is a botanical garden lying near a cliff. Jardin Exotique de Monaco provides an overlooking view of the Rock of Monaco, the Port of Monaco and Monte Carlo, and the French and Italian Riviera. Jardin Exotique de Monaco features more than 1,000 species of plants, especially cacti and Mediterranean plants. Tourists can also visit the natural underground cave with caverns displaying numerous stalagmites, stalactites, spaghetti-like helictites, draperies, curtains and columns. Jardin Exotique de Monaco also houses a Prehistoric Anthropology Museum displaying evidence of prehistoric human inhabitants found inside the cave.
