How to Get Low Cost Disney Tickets

Disney theme parks are known around the world, but particularly the Magic Kingdom in Florida and Disneyland in southern California, as top tourist destinations. Tickets to get into Disney parks aren't cheap, but you can find discounts on certain websites. Knowing where to look is important, as scam artists may attempt to sell invalid tickets such as "partially used passes" to make money off of unsuspecting tourists who don't know better.

Instructions

    • 1

Look for legitimate discounts. Disney tickets are nontransferable. Don't purchase partially-used passes from someone who says they purchased four-day passes and only used two days. You may find out there is no time remaining on the passes upon entering the park -- or you may be asked for photo ID -- whereupon Disney will determine that you are not the original pass holder, and they will not allow you to enter the park.

    • 2

Visit legitimate websites which are authorized to sell Disney park passes, such as Mouse Savers. Avoid buying passes on sites like eBay and Craigslist, for reasons listed above. Mouse Savers posts links to other retailers offering discounted multi-day park-hopper passes to Disney World and Disneyland.

    • 3

Visit an AAA office in Northern or Southern California, for a discount off regularly-priced, multi-day passes to Disneyland. Lesser discounts are sometimes available for multi-day passes purchased at the Disneyland Welcome Center in the Doubletree Suites Anaheim Resort.

    • 4

Consider purchasing an annual passport, if you live near a Disney resort and plan to enter the park more than a few times each year. Annual passes offer free parking, and discounts at Disney hotels, restaurants and shopping.

    • 5

If you are a Southern California resident, living in zip codes 90000-93599 or 21000-22999, you can qualify for discounted annual passes and two-day tickets to Disneyland.

Contact your on-campus student union, if you are a college student -- or the First Financial Credit Union -- if you are a member of the California Teachers Association -- as both offer discounts on one-day, one-park tickets for Disneyland.
