Visitors to Melbourne Beach can visit the Old Town Hall that early settlers built in 1908. Although the Old Town Hall no longer sits in its former location in Ryckman Park, its exhibits depict the history of the town, including exhibits of the indigenous Ais Indian tribe, the explorer Juan Ponce de Leon, Spanish shipwrecks and the town's development. Travelers can visit the Old Town Hall History Center on Saturdays and some holidays.

The Melbourne Beach Rotary Society sponsors the yearly Iceman's Fall Festival at the historic Melbourne Beach Community Center. The Women's Club of Melbourne Beach, originally known as the Rambler's Club, built the center in 1920 for $2,500. Today, visitors can join local events at the Center and see the original oak flooring, wood pine paneling and enclosed bookshelves inside the main lobby. The yearly Iceman's Festival includes many activities such as a cornhole tournament, pumpkin bowling, a costume parade and a bed race.
