The Miami Seaquarium is a 38-acre park packed full of aquatic creatures and family fun activities. The park provides three options for swimming with dolphins. "Dolphin Odyssey" is a deep-water interaction session. Before getting into a wetsuit, you learn about the mammals in a classroom presentation. You must be at least 52 inches tall for the swimming session.
For those who may have little ones or want to avoid the deep water, there is the "Dolphin Encounter" experience, which provides all of the same educational information and interaction but in shallow water. The "Trainer for a Day" option gives a more in-depth, behind the scene experience. Participants get to see what it is like to be a dolphin trainer, while helping trainers with activities throughout the day.
