How to Ride a Zip Line

Riding a zip line in the mountains can offer even more excitement on your vacation. When you ride a zip line, you are riding a large cable from one end of the cable to the opposite end of it. This allows you to “zip” quickly through the mountains and trees, providing an aerial view of the landscape. Zip lines are typically common in exotic and mountainous locations as a form of entertainment for tourists.

Instructions

    • 1

Secure, or get help securing, yourself into the zip line harness and helmet. This is to ensure your safety so you do not fall off of the zip line while riding.

    • 2

Hold the bars attached to the line, tightly.

    • 3

Release your feet from the ground and lift them straight out in front of you. It should appear as though you are sitting down in the harness.

    • 4

Plant your feet firmly on the ground at the bottom of the line to stop yourself.
