One of the country's top zoos and animal facilities, the Dallas Zoo was founded in 1888 and houses 2,000 species. The Dallas Zoo is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admits children under two for free. There are three dining options available that offer a wide variety of choices including burgers, hot dogs, pizza, grilled chicken sandwiches, fries, nachos, beverages and ice cream. There is also a special club where adults can relax and enjoy drinks. An on-site aquarium is also available that features exotic fishes, tidal touch pools, sea urchins and other sea creatures.

Speed Zone is a facility in Dallas, Texas that has a variety of games and racing tracks. Take a spin around the racetrack in a single or double kart. Passengers must be at least 3 feet 6 inches tall to ride and drivers of the 2-kart must be at least 18 years old. Another option is to go drag cart racing in a 300-horsepower dragster. You must be 4 feet 8 inches to ride in the Top Eliminator Dragster. Other games include the Speedway Golf Course which has two 18-hole, race-themed miniature golf courses. It has a brilliant collection of more than 24,000 art works from ancient to modern times.
