The Happy Hollow Park & Zoo is located in San Jose and is home to a zoo, park, puppet theater and rides. Raging Waters is a water park located in San Jose that is open during the summer. The water park features high-speed water slides, a 350,000-gallon wave pool, an activity pool, kiddie pools, an endless river and a number of rides including the Great White Shark, Barracuda Blaster, Shotgun Falls and Blue Thunder/White Lighting. Tickets can be purchased daily or guests can buy a season pass, which offers unlimited visits all summer long. The park also has numerous snack shops, pavilions, restaurants and a picnic area.

The Winchester Mystery House was constructed from 1884 to 1922 and cost over $5.5 million to build. The house was built for Sarah Winchester, who began to build the house after losing her husband and son. The house has 160 rooms, 2,000 doors, 10,000 windows, 47 fireplaces, 13 bathrooms, six kitchens and 47 stairways. Sarah Winchester died in 1922 and now the house offers tours. The Grand Estate tour lasts 2 1/2 hours and offers a behind-the-scenes tour; other tours last approximately one hour.
