The Jungle Island Fun and Adventure is a 20,000-square foot playground and restaurant in San Jose. This venue houses a ball pit, jungle gym and slides in The Jungle. The Big Game Room features air hockey tables, skee ball games and arcade games. Successful players can win tickets at arcade games that can be redeemed for prizes. Mookie's Cafe serves pizza and sandwiches adjacent to the Big Game Room. Parents save money with free game play after 4 p.m. on Sundays and discounted pizza on Fridays.

The Winchester Mystery House is a 19th-century mansion that now serves as a museum of California history. Families can take the Mansion Tour to walk through more than 100 rooms and learn about the mansion's history of paranormal activity. The Grand Estate Tour combines a walk through the mansion with stops at the garden, stables and basement. Parents can also take their kids on hour-long flashlight tours every Friday the 13th and Halloween. The Winchester Historic Firearms Museum contains displays about the history of the Winchester rifle.

The San Jose Sharks play 41 home games at the HP Pavilion at San Jose. This professional hockey team offers the FINatical Kids Club for children under 16 years old. Each Kids Club member receives a birthday card, a team duffle bag and invitations to exclusive autograph sessions. Kids can meet the mascot S.J. Sharkie before and during each home game. The club recognizes prolific readers at local grade schools with the Reading is Cool program.
