Murphy's place is not your prototypical Reggae Club, if such a prototype even exists. Instead, Murphy's Place inserts its emphasis of African-inspired culture, cuisine and music into everything it does. Reggae music can be heard each and every Saturday night, which is specifically designated "Reggae Nite." One might also be able to catch reggae tunes, on an intermittent basis, Thursday "open mic" nights or Friday "Live Mix" nights.
