Visitors can spend time learning about a variety of subjects at some of Hemet's local museums. Fishing is available year-round in the Hemet area at lakes including Lake Hemet, Fulmor Lake, Perris Lake, Skinner Lake and Diamond Valley Lake. Some of the lakes are stocked with rainbow trout and channel catfish. Other fish that can be found in nearby lakes include largemouth bass, crappie and bluegill.
