Every September, the Central Florida Zoo sponsors a two-day celebration of Hispanic culture. The Fiesta del Coqui includes food, music and dancing representing a variety of Latino cultures. The zoo charges a small admission fee, but seniors pay a discounted rate. Hispanic senior citizens who are particularly interested in the Fiesta del Coqui can join the "Zoo Crew" of volunteers to help with event planning.
