Dress appropriately for the club where you want to party. Most clubs in the resort casinos will welcome you into the general admission area with no problem, provided you are basically presentable. However, while Las Vegas is a laid back town, shorts, sneakers, flip-flops and cutoffs are discouraged in most clubs. If you're near the club location, take a pass by the club to get a feel for the atmosphere. Or give them a call; the club staff will happily fill you in on the current trends that fit best in their club.
Be prepared to pay. Most Las Vegas clubs will have a drink minimum or a cover charge of some sort.
If you want a place to sit in a Las Vegas club, book a VIP table. Book your table ahead of time. While many Las Vegas clubs will have VIP tables open up until a day before the booking date, some of the hottest Las Vegas clubs book their VIP tables months in advance. If you are entertaining guests and want to look smooth, don't take any chances.
Confirm your VIP table booking. Mistakes happen and you don't want to look foolish being refused at the door in front of your guests. So call ahead the morning before.
If you're entertaining a group at a Las Vegas club, ask to see the club ahead of time. Most Las Vegas club operators will let you walk through if they have no other events going on. Be sure to check out the restrooms to make sure the facilities are adequate. Some clubs have uni-sex restroom arrangements which helps shorten lines for the ladies, but some people don't care for that much mingling.
