How to Reconfirm UAL Reservations

For many, the most stressful part of taking a trip is the planning. It's not inconceivable that you might forget your travel plans. Many airlines, including United, have established new and convenient ways for customers to stay up to date on their reservations. If you find yourself stressing the night before your flight, there are a couple of ways to double-check your reservations.

      Click "My Reservations" from the "Reservations and Check-in" menu after you've navigated your way to the United Airlines website (see Resources). You should find the "Reservations and Check-in" menu on the home page.

      Choose your method of identification. After you've navigated to the "My Reservations" page you'll be given an option between four methods of identification: United confirmation or E-ticket number, Mileage Plus number or email address, another airline's confirmation number, and credit card number.

      Enter the appropriate information in the second blank.

      Insert your name in the last blank unless you chose Mileage Plus number or email address. The other three options require your last name in the final blank, however if you did choose to use your Mileage Plus number or email address you'll need to enter your password.

      Click "Log In." After you've logged in your flight reservation information will be presented. This includes departure times, arrival times and any delays.

    On the Phone

      Call 1-800-864-8331. This is United Airlines' reservation hotline.

      Give them your confirmation number or credit card number. They will sometimes want both.

      Give them your name. After they have your name, they should be able to look up your reservation information and give you any information you need. They can also help you with any alterations to your itinerary.
