How to Open Rosetta Stone Files

Rosetta Stone is a top-of-the-line language software you can use on your computer to learn almost any language imaginable, from Latin American Spanish to Thai. When you first begin with Rosetta Stone you create a user profile and the account tracks your progress, allowing you to proceed to more advanced levels or forcing you to repeat the levels. The Rosetta Stone files can only open directly through an already open Rosetta Stone software.

Instructions

  Launch Rosetta Stone. If you are using a Windows computer click the "Start" button followed by "All Programs" and then "Rosetta Stone." If using a Mac click the Finder icon, choose "Mac HD," "Applications" and then "Rosetta Stone."

  Type in a password if required when starting up the software.

  Click the "Open" button, then select the account file you want to access (if you are the only individual who uses the account, only one file is present). Click "OK."

  Select the lesson you want to partake in. You can either select your next lesson or start from the beginning to brush up on your language.
